James Roosevelt (lawyer)
James Roosevelt III (born November 9, 1945) is an attorney and Democratic Party official. He is a son of Congressman James Roosevelt II (1907–1991) and Romelle Theresa Schneider (September 28, 1915 in Wisconsin – January 16, 2002 in Cambridge, Massachusetts).〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Social Security Death Index )〕 As of 2008, he is the co-chair of the Rules and Bylaws Committee of the Democratic National Committee, a position he has held since 1995.
==Education==
James III graduated from La Salle High School in Pasadena in 1963. He earned his A.B. with honors in government from Harvard College in 1968. On June 12, 1968 he was commissioned in the Naval Reserve and rose to the rank of lieutenant on July 1, 1971.〔Register of Officers of the Naval Reserve. 1971.〕
Roosevelt received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and he has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
